Yvonne Nelson gets police approval for power protest

An approval has come the way of Ghanaian actress, Yvonne Nelson who recently launched a campaign #DumsorMustStop mass protest towards battling the lack of electricity in the country.
The actress, who would be joined by award winning rapper, Sarkodie and fellow actresses like Joselyn Dumas, Lydia Forson among others, to protest against the current administration of President John Mahama, took to her Instagram account today, May 7, 2015 to post pictures of her successful meeting with Regional Police Commander.
Meanwhile, President John Mahama had earlier revealed that he would also join in the protest, in other to let citizens know he is also finding a possible solution to power outage in the country.
The peaceful protest will kick off at the University of Ghana football field on Saturday, May 16, 2015 and proceed to the Green Park opposite the Villagio at the Tettey Quashie Interchange in Accra.
