Japanese centenarian Hidekichi Miyazaki set a new record as the world’s oldest competitive sprinter this week, one day after turning 105, and was even disappointed at falling short of his own personal best.
Referred to as the “Golden Bolt” for imitating Jamaican Olympic gold medallist Usain Bolt’s famed lightning bolt pose, Miyazaki says he longs for the opportunity to challenge the fastest man in the world. More photos after the cut!!
