Commotion As 2 APC House of Reps Members Exchange Slaps

In yet another disgraceful episode, two members of House of Representatives have thoroughly slapped each other in another leadership tussle

According to reports, two members of the House of Representatives, Hon. Herman Hembe and Hon. Aliyu Sani Madaki, on Tuesday exchanged slaps over the issue of allocation of juicy committees.
The Reps, both of whom are members of the All Progressives Congress, went on a slapping spree in the White House within the National Assembly. The altercation is said to have occurred before the day’s sitting began.
If not for the intervention of the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Yusuf Lasun, to separate Hembe (APC-Benue) and Madaki (APC-Kano), it would have resulted in a full-fledged fight.
It was revealed according to a reliable source that the altercation was not unconnected to the headship of the committees.
It is believed that Hembe’s emergence as the chairman of the committee on Federal Capital Territory did not go down well with Madaki who people believed had his eye on the position.
