“Black Beatles” has easily been one of the most popular records off of SremmLife 2. It is atmospheric and polished compared to the pure exuberance of the first SremmLife, and thus representative of Swae Lee and Slim Jxmmi’s progression as artists. Also, it features a verse from Gucci Mane.
The “Black Beatles” music video, released Thursday afternoon, is a portrait of Rae Sremmurd as rockstars of the 21st century, thrashing violently on-stage for screaming women and making ostentatious fashion choices to match their outsize personalities.
